Job Description

Provides academic instruction aligned to Arizona state standards. All teaching positions require Arizona Teacher Certification and highly qualified status for the content area pursuant to federal requirements. Up to ten (10) years credit may be given for previous teaching experience for initial placement on Certified Salary Placement Schedule; up to fifteen (15) years credit may be given for previous teaching experience for initial placement on Certified Salary Placement Schedule for certain positions including math, science, english and special education. The District also offers other opportunities for compensation including Performance Pay, or Academic and athletic stipends.

 

Job Requirements

Must hold a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree. Valid Arizona Teacher Certification / Endorsement consistent with assignment. Must be highly qualified to teach assigned grade and/or content. Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card.
